MaxPreps/OACA 2014-15 Oregon high school boys basketball players of the week

Name: Tristen Holmes
School: North Medford

Holmes led the Black Tornadoes to two wins over Grants Pass (74-53) and Sheldon (69-52), improving their season record to 19-4 and league record to 10-3.  He scored 35 points, had 16 rebounds, 12 assists and four steals in the two victories.

Name: Ivan Sandrali
School: Canyonville Christian Academy

Sandrali had 57 points, 41 rebounds, 12 steals and 13 blocked shots in CCA’s three games this past week.

Name: Drew Eubanks
School: Reynolds (Troutdale)

Eubanks led Reynolds to league wins over Oregon City (64-54) and Central Catholic (59-58). He scored 34 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and had nine blocks as Reynolds improved its record to 14-6 on the season and 7-3 in league.

Names: Eli Lininger, Mason Green-Richards School: South Eugene

Lininger and Green-Richards led the Axemen to two league victories over Thurston (77-52) and North Medford (63-61). Lininger scored 43 points, had 23 rebounds, 10 assists and nine steals in the two games. Green-Richards also scored 43 points and had 10 rebounds and five assists.

Name: Garrett Hitz
School: Prairie City

Hitz led the Panthers in their two games against Dayville/Monument and Burnt River by scoring 36 points and grabbing 29 rebounds in the two games.

School: Pendleton

Persinger led Pendleton to two victories over LaGrande and Baker City. He scored 30 points and had 22 rebounds for the Buckaroos.

Name: Zack Van Loon
School: Yoncalla

Van Loon led the Eagles to two victories, improving their season record to 12-1. In the two wins over Camas Valley and New Hope Christian, he scored 36 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished 13 assists and had 20 steals.

School: La Salle (Milwaukie)

Smith led LaSalle to three victories over Gladstone, Westview and Valley Catholic, as he scored 63 points, had 25 rebounds and eight steals over the three games.
