Softball Game Preview: Lancaster Tigers vs. DeSoto Eagles

The Lancaster Tigers will square off against the DeSoto Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lancaster is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Waxahachie, falling 18-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeSoto). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Skyline on Tuesday, sneaking past 19-18. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for DeSoto, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
