Basketball Recap: Culbertson Comes Up Short

Culbertson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Poplar Indians on the road by a 56-42 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Indians are ranked 35th).

Culbertson's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Poplar, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Culbertson will head out on the road to square off against Fairview on February 4th. Poplar has already played their next game (against Harlem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
