Soccer Recap: Peru Has No Trouble Against Boquet Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peru). They put the hurt on the Boquet Valley Griffins with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Peru's offense was hitting Boquet Valley from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Seanan Edwards led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Peru's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Boquet Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peru will face off against Saranac at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boquet Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chazy at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th.
