Baseball Recap: Spencer Center Comes Up Short

Spencer Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Taft Senators, falling 14-5.

Maeson Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Spencer Center's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Taft, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Spencer Center will take on Gamble Montessori at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taft, they will venture away from home to challenge Riverview East Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Senators' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
