It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Long Creek ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Falls City Beavers 64-61. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Falls City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Austin Bordovsky, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, and Kain Jurgajtis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards. That's the most boards Jurgajtis has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Dale Shaffer, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

With the victory, Long Creek broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8. As for Falls City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Long Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-24 loss against Young Men's Leadership Academy on the 17th. As for Falls City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-50 win against Bloomington on the 12th.
