After a string of four wins, Stevenson's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Monterey Dores by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Reggie Bell and Henry Blaxter did some serious damage despite the final result: Bell went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Blaxter went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Monterey, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.

As of now, neither Stevenson nor the Dores have any future games scheduled.
