Football Game Recap: Carolina Academy vs. Chapman

Chapman were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Carolina Academy to the tune of 69-24.

Chapman's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 48 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Carolina Academy couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 48-0 heading into the break. Chapman were outperformed in the second half 21-24 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. Carolina Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.

Chapman will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Southside at Southside HS (Old School) in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Carolina Academy will look to defend their home turf next week against Chesnee at 7:30 PM. Chesnee are limping into the game on a five-game losing streak.
