Baseball Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates

Perry is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Monday. They will head out on the road to face off against the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Perry saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 8-4 to Ovid-Elsie.

Nolan Krupp was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Pewamo-Westphalia fell victim to Owosso and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Perry couldn't quite get it done against Pewamo-Westphalia when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Ramblers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
