Soccer Game Preview: Horn Lake vs. Hernando

Horn Lake hasn't had much luck against Hernando recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Horn Lake has given up an average of 2.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Horn Lake's offense. They lost 8-0 to DeSoto Central on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hernando faced Lewisburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Hernando, who have now won three contests in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Elli Reinhardt, who's now up to three this season.

Hernando's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Horn Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
