Meanwhile, Esperanza's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Pasadena 1-0. That's two games straight that Esperanza have won by just one goal.

Tustin's win bumped their record up to 14-6-4. As for Esperanza, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-6.
