At the plate, Jonathan Lopez and Cole Lasher did most of the damage at the plate: Lopez went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Lasher went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Lasher a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Jennings, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
St. Thomas Aquinas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, McArthur lost 10-2 to South Broward on Tuesday.
Damari Madry was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
St. Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for McArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
