Football Recap: South Comes Up Short

If South was riding high fresh off their 53-0 takedown of Mifflin last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a hard 21-6 fall against the Centennial Stars on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 14-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

South's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Centennial, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, South will challenge Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
