Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Skates Past Tournament Opponent with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). They blew past Tournament Opponent 123-60 on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with Tournament Opponent recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading St. Joseph to victory were Julius Price and Malcolm Price. Julius shot 67% from the field to rack up 38 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Malcolm went 13-for-21 en route to 29 points and seven boards. Malcolm's big performance that morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bernardo Jeronimo, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

St. Joseph smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Theydidn't rest on their laurels for long: they've already played their next match, a 88-52 beat against another Tournament Opponent.
