Troy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Whittier Christian Heralds 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Troy never let Whittier Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10, 25-14.

Troy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Whittier Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Troy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fullerton at 4:45 p.m. on September 8. As for Whittier Christian, they will host Brea Olinda at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
