Creekside came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the North Marion Colts 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Creekside got a great performance from Matt Bysheim as he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Creekside's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Connor Balazic, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run. Dominic Cantona also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Creekside's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Marion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Creekside will host Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Marion, they will venture away from home to challenge Dunnellon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
