Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 last Monday.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easten Powell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Clinton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bethany at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Bishop McGuinness, they have already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Miami on the 20th.
