Volleyball Recap: Lucas Comes Up Short

Lucas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the New London Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-12.

Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New London, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Lucas has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Central Christian on the 26th. As for New London, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Plymouth on the 26th.
