Football Recap: Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian fell victim to Toledo Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Braves' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Toledo Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Lachmiller, who rushed for 83 yards and one TD on only five carries. Those 83 rushing yards gave Lachmiller a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Joshua Winkler, who threw for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 passes.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Toledo Christian, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
