Upper Perkiomen got themselves on the board against Boyertown on Wednesday, but Boyertown never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Bears. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The result came thanks to Cole Pierce's shutout, as he gave up just two hits.

On the hitting side, Grayson Sabo was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordin Dice, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Upper Perkiomen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Upper Perkiomen's record is now 6-3. As for Boyertown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
