Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Waverly). They blew past the Westwood Panthers 18-4 on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory got New Waverly back to even at 2-2. As for Westwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, New Waverly will square off against Dayton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Rusk at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
