Recap: Millington Central Trojans vs. Munford Cougars
The Millington Central Trojans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They really took it to Munford for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-27 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Millington Central sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Alana Whiten went supernova for Millington Central, scoring 17 points. Bailey Boone was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Millington Central's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Munford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millington Central will take on the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Munford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m.
