Soccer Recap: Fremont Has No Trouble Against Lutheran-Northeast

Fremont kept a clean sheet against Lutheran-Northeast on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Eagles. It was an even better day for Emma Diers as she scored six goals for her team.

Fremont has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Lutheran-Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fremont will head out to challenge Lincoln Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Fremont their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on April 5.
