Softball Recap: Hendersonville Takes a Loss

Hendersonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Beech Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 back in March.

Hendersonville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn (Maddie) McCord, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hendersonville now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Beech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Hendersonville will challenge Mount Juliet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Commandos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beech, they will face off against Tennessee Heat at 12:00 p.m. on the 25th.
