Preview: Lincolnton Wolves vs. Bandys Trojans

After five games on the road, Lincolnton is heading back home. They will take on the Bandys Trojans at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Lincolnton, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-41 loss to the Red Devils.
Lincolnton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nyla Johnson, who scored six points along with four steals, and Daphca Dyson who scored nine points along with two steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, Bandys unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 77-42 loss at the hands of East Burke. Bandys has struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Lincolnton's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bandys, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Things could have been worse for Lincolnton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-39 loss to the Trojans when the teams last played back in January.
