Marist waltzed into their game on Friday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lithonia Bulldogs 61-20. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Marist pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.9 points over those games. As for Lithonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Coming up, Marist will challenge Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marist is facing Clarkston at the right time seeing as Clarkston is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lithonia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-42 defeat against Lovejoy on the 8th.
