Basketball Recap: Culver City Snags Ninth Win in Last 11 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Culver City had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Yucaipa Thunderbirds. The Centaurs pushed the score to 43-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Thunderbirds cut but never quite recovered from.

Culver City is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points over those games. As for Yucaipa, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

As of now, neither Culver City nor Yucaipa have any future games scheduled.
