Basketball Recap: Tri-Central Takes a Loss

Tri-Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 70-44 to the Rossville Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since December 28, 2023.

Rossville found their leader in sophomore Brayden Thiele-Hahn, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave Thiele-Hahn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Skinner, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 16 points and eight boards.

Tri-Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Rossville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Tri-Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Anderson Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Anderson Prep Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Rossville, they and Frankfort will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
