Lee Perry and Jared Coffey provided fans with a highlight when they connected against South Seneca/Romulus. The connection was good for 60 yards, the longest such play in Section 5 Finger Lakes - West this season.

Red Jacket's Kory Fogarty rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Falcons last week. Fogarty scampered for 65 yards on the play and finished with 115 on the day as his team topped South Seneca/Romulus.

Red Jacket's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Perry threw for 161 and 2 touchdowns and Ryan Sadler had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Fogarty contributed 115 yards. Tyler Gardner helped Red Jacket's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.

Perry put up the best numbers through the air as Marc Vitticore's team beat Tyrone Thomas' team.

Red Jacket's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Perry has thrown for 278 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Sean Sheets has 2 catches for 87 yards.

Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when the Indians' Sheets goes up against Mynderse Academy's Cole Fletcher.

Next week's game between Red Jacket and the Blue Devils will feature a good passing match up as Perry will test his arm against Fletcher's defensive ability.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Clyde-Savannah takes on Dundee. As it stands, the Golden Eagles are in second, while the Scotsmen are in fourth.

There should be lots of points scored when Mynderse Academy and the Indians face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Mike Miller's team comes in having scored 50 this season, while Red Jacket has scored 123. The Blue Devils scored 14 points last week as they fell to Whitman.

The Wildcats scaled the state rankings by moving to 510 from 537 this week, the biggest jump in Section 5 Finger Lakes - West. Whitman climbed the ranks as a result of beating Mynderse Academy 21-14.
