Softball Recap: Eustis Panthers vs. South Sumter Raiders

While Eustis's victory against South Sumter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eustis Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Sumter Raiders on Thursday, sneaking past 8-6. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Carson Roden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ella Fleming, who fired off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 4-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Covino, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.
