Martinsville came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Red Hill, but Caitlee Gray wouldn't allow it. The Salukis strolled past the Bluestreaks with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 43-26 thanks in part to Gray, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Red Hill has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 53 points this season. As for Martinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Red Hill will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Martinsville, they will challenge Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
