Soccer Game Preview: Granbury vs. Brewer

Granbury is 0-6 against Brewer since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Granbury Pirates will welcome the Brewer Bears at 7:45 p.m. Granbury's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Granbury's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Azle 1-0.

Meanwhile, Brewer's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-1 to Saginaw.

Brewer dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Granbury, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-5.

Granbury might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Brewer when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Granbury avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
