West hasn't had much luck against Tehachapi recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 32.6 points per game this season.

Tehachapi will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: West extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Vikings came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-32 W against Foothill. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 27, 2024.

Solomon Harris was his usual excellent self, rushing for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 125 yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. West's leading receiver Jamarr Price was Harris' top target yet again, picking up 75 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 41 points the game before, Tehachapi was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They took a 23-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of North.

Tehachapi now has a losing record of 3-4. As for West, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Harris and Colton Michael. Harris just won't slow down this season and has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 73.1 passing yards per game. Michael has been a dominant force too and has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 134.3 passing yards per game.

West took a serious blow against Tehachapi when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 49-7. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Vikings were down 35-0.
