Basketball Game Preview: Lone Oak Buffaloes vs. Prairiland Patriots

The Lone Oak Buffaloes will face off against the Prairiland Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lone Oak will be strutting in after a victory while Prairiland will be coming in after a loss.

Lone Oak will head into Friday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt Mount Vernon on Friday. Lone Oak breezed by Mount Vernon to the tune of 65-37. The matchup marked the Buffaloes' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Prairiland lost a heartbreaker to Chisum when they met back in January of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Prairiland fell 55-42 to Chisum. The Patriots have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lone Oak's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Prairiland, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
