After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milford, King Philip Regional was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since May 16, 2024.

King Philip Regional was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Jett Tucker paced King Philip Regional's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tucker got some help from Hayden Patel and his 27 assists. Tucker was also a major player on defense: he and he shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

The victory got King Philip Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, King Philip Regional will head out on the road to face off against Boston Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they will host Nipmuc Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
