Hadley Luzerne dropped their record down to 7-4-1 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrensburg Burgers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Burgers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Warrensburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

For Warrensburg's part, Louis Lang was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Lang was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Caleb Remington was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
