Football Recap: Presbyterian Christian Has No Trouble Against Pass Christian

The Presbyterian Christian Bobcats didn't have too much trouble with the Pass Christian Pirates on Friday as they won 35-21. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Bobcats this season.

Pass Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paris Trivillion, who threw for 144 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards on only nine carries. Another rusher making a difference was Douglas White, who rushed for 107 yards on only 11 carries.

The victory made it two in a row for Presbyterian Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.5 points over those games. As for Pass Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Presbyterian Christian will head out to square off against Seminary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pass Christian, they will square off against St. Stanislaus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
