Baseball Game Preview: Southeast Valley Warriors vs. Eagle Grove Eagles

Southeast Valley and Eagle Grove are an even 3-3 against one another since July of 2017, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Southeast Valley came up short against Pocahontas and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Eagle Grove wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Southeast Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Eagle Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Southeast Valley beat Eagle Grove 9-4 in their previous meeting back in June of 2025. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
