Basketball Game Preview: Kelly Walsh Trojans vs. Laramie Plainsmen

Having just played yesterday, the Kelly Walsh Trojans will jump right back in to play the Laramie Plainsmen at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Kelly Walsh is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Arvada West, falling 57-35.

Meanwhile, Laramie didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cody on Friday, but they still walked away with a 45-39 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Plainsmen.

Kelly Walsh better focus on containing Dax Parvin and Jackson Murray as the pair were huge in Laramie's win. Parvin almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards, while Murray posted 13 points. Those 12 points gave Parvin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blase Goetz, who earned seven points.

Things could have been worse for Kelly Walsh, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 77-59 loss to Laramie in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
