Football Recap: Hilldale Hornets vs. Ada Cougars
Hilldale had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it five. They came up short against the Ada Cougars, falling 61-38. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Cougars are ranked 26th).
Despite the loss, Hilldale still got an impressive performance from Brady Scott, who rushed for 65 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, and also picked up 77 receiving yards. Bryce Chartney was another key player, gaining 99 total yards and a touchdown.

His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards. Lakievin Richardson was in the mix too, providing Ada with two scores.
Hilldale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 61-20 loss against Broken Bow on the 16th. As for Ada, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-8 victory against Stilwell on the 16th.
