Basketball Recap: Montcalm Takes a Loss

Montcalm was the 51-41 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Montcalm Generals took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Raiders on Monday.

Montcalm's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Montcalm will venture away from home to face off against River View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season. As for Liberty, they will take on Wyoming East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
