Baseball Recap: SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars vs. Seaforth Hawks
SouthWest Edgecombe extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Seaforth. They had just enough and edged out the Hawks 4-3. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by just one run.
Parker Gay made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple.
