Basketball Recap: Battle Creek Comes Up Short

Battle Creek lost against Loretto back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Battle Creek Grizzlies were beaten by the Loretto Mustangs 70-13. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.

Battle Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Loretto, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Battle Creek will square off against Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loretto, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Summertown at 6:00 p.m.
