Section 10 recap October 22, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 10 this week, Potsdam beat Massena 36-12. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Potsdam took down the Red Raiders 36-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Oden Roberston ran for 119 yards during the win.
Massena's dynamic duo of Rory Corcoran and Josh Manley proved tough for Jim Kirka's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Corcoran threw for 115 yards and 1 touchdown and Manley had 77 yards receiving. JP Reagan helped Massena's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 38 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Tupper Lake's Morgan Stevens and Mitch Keniston have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Stevens has thrown for 1,070 yards this season, while Keniston has 26 catches for 516 yards. Reagan from Anthony Diagostino's team leads the league in rushing with 1,178 yards.
The Red Raiders are currently in third, while Franklin Academy is in fourth.
The Sandstoners made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,972 from 5,299. The improvement was largely due to a 36-12 victory over Massena last week.
