Anson waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Anson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Central Academy of Technology & Arts between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.

Brooklyn Miles paced Anson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Miles got some help from Allie Steagall and her 21 assists. Steagall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Anson's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Central Academy of Technology & Arts, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
