Softball Recap: Harrold Comes Up Short

Harrold came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Seymour Panthers, falling 18-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 21-11 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Carleigh I made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Zaylee C was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Harrold's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Seymour, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Harrold will venture away from home to take on Quanah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seymour, they will host Clyde at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
