Monte Vista has gone 10-0 against Livermore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Monte Vista Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Livermore Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Monte Vista will be strutting in after a win while Livermore will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Monte Vista beat Amador Valley 47-38.

Meanwhile, Livermore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 66-47 to De La Salle. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Spartans are ranked 14th).

Monte Vista's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Livermore, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Everything went Monte Vista's way against Livermore in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Monte Vista made off with a 62-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monte Vista since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
