Baseball Recap: Holyoke Takes a Loss

Wiggins hit Holyoke with a five-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Dragons came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Holyoke saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Weber, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Cozner Deaver Ring also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wiggins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Holyoke will challenge Wray at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wiggins, they will take on Caliche at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
