Clark barely beat Cimarron-Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Spartans 51-0. The  win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.
Leading Clark to victory were  Felix Romero and  Aaron McCrary.  Romero gained 221 total yards and four touchdowns, while  McCrary threw for 225 yards and four  TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Romero also  rushed for 158  rushing yards, which is notable because the Chargers are undefeated when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Clark was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 218  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
 Clark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Zayne Moorman and  Brandon Truley. Truley has been hot recently, having also posted  at least one  defended passe the last three times he's  played.  Christian Guevara was another major factor on D,  making seven total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Clark's record now sits at 4-2. As for Cimarron-Memorial,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Coming up, Clark will venture away from home to  square off against Western  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.67  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sports Leadership & Management  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
