Basketball Recap: Troup's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Troup fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Alto on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Alto Yellowjackets by a score of 66-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Troup's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Alto, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Troup wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-36 victory against Harleton on the 28th. As for Alto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-50 defeat against Cayuga on the 28th.
